Overview
All the African Journal of Kingdom Education submissions, reviews, and editorial work are done through the Christopress Journal System (CJS). Prior to submitting your article, you will have to register for an account here on this website if you are a new contributor/author. You will be asked to fill in a brief contributor/author form. Be sure to click the “Register” button to save your data. You will then be able to log in, using the username and password you created, and view the contributor/author homepage, which is the starting point for all functions available to you as a contributor. You are expected to upload your new article/abstract by creating a “New Abstract”, typing in your abstract and uploading your full journal articles in MS Word. If you have made your payment, send your full author’s name, and your article title(s) with your proof of payment to: ajokejournal@gmail.com
Manuscript Submission and Types
A. Original Research and Review Articles
- Articles submitted for consideration should be between 4000–7000 words in length, including footnotes, illustrations, and images but excluding an Abstract. Your article should be in MS Word format.
- Please provide a 200 to 250-word abstract and a list of six (6) keywords or phrases.
- Submissions should NOT appear elsewhere or be under review for publication elsewhere.
- The author is responsible for the accuracy of quotations and references and for securing permission to reproduce materials.
- Content should be carefully thought out and clearly expressed in prose that meets the highest academic standards. Articles requiring extensive rewriting for reasons of style will be returned to the author for revision.
B. Scriptural Article Submission
- Your “Scriptural Article” or “Sola Scriptura” is also a research or review article using the Bible as the ultimate source/material for literature review, though other relevant materials can be consulted. It should be 2000–5000 words in length, including footnotes, illustrations, and images but excluding an Abstract.
- Your article should be in MS Word format.
- Please provide a 150 to 250-word abstract and a list of six (6) keywords or phrases.
- Your submission should follow number 3 and 4 clauses found in the Original Research and Review Articles checklist above.
- You are free to use additional sources like commentaries, concordance and other sources, but you must cite and reference all other sources aside the Bible.
C. Method; Position; Reaction or Conference Paper Submission
- All the Method, Position, Reaction or Conference Papers should be 1500–2500 words in length, including footnotes, illustrations, and images but excluding an Abstract.
- Your article should be in MS Word format.
- Please provide a 100 to 250-word abstract (where applicable) and a list of six (6) keywords or phrases.
- Your submission should follow number 3 and 4 clauses found in the Original Research and Review Articles checklist above.
Paper Format, Styling, and Citations
- Your paper should be in A4 size (portrait).
- Font from “Abstract to Bibliography” is Garamond, with font size 12-pt.
- A 1.0 line text spacing needed and single line paragraph spacing is required.
- Footnote is allowed, but NOT endnote.
- Citation style used should be the “AJOKE Society of Biblical Literature” (AJOKE-SBL) 2nd Edition
